About this tool
Generate strong random passwords offline in your browser — choose length and character types, exclude similar letters, and copy in one click. No sign-up, nothing uploaded.
The BrainCoder Strong Password Generator creates cryptographically random passwords in your browser. Pick a length from 6 to 64 characters, toggle character types (uppercase, lowercase, digits, symbols), and optionally exclude hard-to-distinguish characters such as 0/O and l/1/I before copying your password with one click.
The generator uses the browser's Crypto.getRandomValues() API, which draws cryptographically secure randomness from the operating system's entropy pool — the same source native password managers rely on. This is vastly superior to Math.random()-based generators, whose predictable sequences attackers can exploit. Every password is effectively unpredictable and statistically resistant to brute-force attacks.
Your passwords are never stored, uploaded, or logged — they exist only on your screen and in your clipboard until you overwrite them. Everything runs locally in your browser, free and with no account required. A live entropy readout shows approximate bits along with a Weak / Good / Strong rating, and regenerating with the same settings produces an entirely new password every time.

How to use Password Generator
Follow the steps below to use the tool.
- 1
Set password length
Drag the slider to set your password length from 6 to 64 characters. Longer passwords are exponentially harder to crack — 16+ characters is recommended.
- 2
Choose character types
Toggle on the character types you want: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and symbols. Include all four for maximum security.
- 3
Configure exclusion rules
Optionally exclude ambiguous characters that look similar (like 0/O or l/1/I) to make passwords easier to read and type.
- 4
Generate and copy
Click 'Regenerate' to create a new random password (the field also refreshes automatically when you change settings). Review the strength readout, then click 'Copy' to grab it.
Still free, still private — your files never leave your device.
